Fired Up About Learning Institute saved my life when it came to chemistry. Last year January with only a few more months until my CAPE Chemistry Unit 1 exams, I had great difficulty comprehending the subject. That was until I came  across the Fired Up About Learning Institute where I met Mr Davis who made chemistry a walk in the park. He used different techniques such as virtual experiments, simulations, videos and PowerPoints to help me. He always explained thoroughly when I asked questions and made sure I understood before moving on to a new topic. Thanks to F.U.A.L.I., after months of explaining and practicing many past papers, I was able to achieve a grade 1 in chemistry unit 1. Entering my second year (unit 2), I felt more confident and more comfortable with chemistry. I realised I no longer needed chemistry lessons and I became a self independent learner. I could not have done this without Mr Davis, he was very patient with me and I could not have asked for a better tutor. Now, Chemistry is my favourite subject.

My15 year old niece started attending Saturday morning extra lessons with Mr Davis at the start of the school year 2018/2019.  Her 12 year old brother joined her during Term 2.  They will certainly be continuing with Mr Davis for the new school year 2019/2020 as I have seen a noticeable improvement in their comprehension and expression of ideas.  I am not just interested in their  ability to pass exams to a satisfactory standard but also in the development of their critical thinking and sound study habits. The results so far are not about performing miracles but simply being consistent as well as thorough.  Mr Davis' approach while accessible to the children is also rigorous and I would encourage other parents/guardians to fully engage with Mr Davis to determine the areas with which your child needs help.  I am very pleased with the results.
